My Stats Tell A Tale 2011/2012

Last year June 2011 I gave a brief overview of my blog stats from 2010 to June 2011 and a run down as to what was most popular it was called my Stats tell a Tale  and accessible at the link below.

During the last year June 2011/June 2012 my stats also tell a tale. Only overtaken by any post on the Olympic Torch,

The Police updates are now in 2nd place. (not that I have received any for a while so I can’t post them “I was given permission to post them”) Which is quite surprising as I know Of at least two occasions in Forshaw Heath that required helicopters and police cars.

In 3rd place are the People searching for the Earlswood Methodist Church Fete.

In 4th Place are people looking for Parish Council things. (This omits the numbers looking at scribd and PC documents)

In 5th Place Shipston On Line Live Community Forum

In 6th Place people looking for the Earlswood Fete (it is not known if this is the Earlswood Methodist Church Wood Lane or Earlswood Malthouse Lane Fete but people are looking for Fete’s in Earlswood.

It seems to me now the SNT Alcester North Team is on line Tweeting (A great step forward) from this time last year. I hopefully won’t have any need to post the watch lists (Not that I receive them any more)

There you have it The Police would be tops again without the Olympic Torch.

  1. Good to see searches for Tanworth Parish Council coming in in fourth place. I wonder if the parish councillors will now accept that there are people out there looking online for information about the parish council?!

    1. Dan,

Yes it is good. However what it does show unless the problem/s affect someone directly they actually are not seen to support/disagree with an decision taken at local Parish Level, attend meetings or say their piece. I feel for Parish Councils, trying to get people motivated is difficult, then again the vicious circle starts. Which is why a medium like the internet can help. People do have a voice and can speak the just need to know when and where. All to often I think people mix Parish Council up as one of two things

      a) Something to do with the church
      b) Something Political

Sometime people don't understand our Parish Councillors are volunteers, not paid and doing what they think is best for Local Communities without the voice of the Local Community or the minority of the local community.

What a difficult position to be in.

  2. You know its really strange Earlswood Malthouse Lane Fete has seen more hits after the event than before and now moved up to 3rd. With the Methodist Fete moving up to 2nd. The Police have now dropped down to 5th. Olympic Torch is still number one. I don't know why I have removed the posts. I suppose what I have learnt is people are interested in local things.

Crime Stats Alcester North October 2020

Well as crime has been on my mind for the last couple of weeks and it has always appeared difficult to find any meaningful crime stats. I have at long last found the information used by the Police lurking on the Police.uk website. It is not live data and runs approx 6 to 8 weeks in arrears for example October 2020 is now visible. This is a totally interactive tool, easy to use and has a great dashboard, what is good about this tool it also provides outcomes. The default is for the whole of the Alcester North area however it is simple to find out where the hot spots are and which crimes have been included. So for those of you keeping an eye on the stats this may well be the tool to use. To get to the information  just click the link  below Alcester North Crime Data
